About ESP32 Pinout
ESP32 Pinout is a free, lightweight, interactive GPIO reference tool designed for ESP32 developers, makers, Arduino users, and embedded engineers.
The project was created to solve a simple problem: every other ESP32 pinout reference was either a static image, a blog post you had to scroll through, or an outdated table. We wanted something fast, interactive, and practical — click a pin, see its functions instantly.
Our Mission
To become the fastest, most reliable, and most practical GPIO reference for the ESP32 ecosystem. We're building a complete topical hub around ESP32 hardware documentation — not just a pinout diagram.
What We Cover
- ESP32 GPIO functions and multiplexing
- Safe and unsafe GPIO pins
- ADC / DAC pins (including Wi-Fi conflicts)
- PWM channels and configuration
- Touch sensor pins
- UART, SPI, I2C communication pins
- Boot strapping pins and their effects
- RTC GPIO for deep sleep wake-up
- ESP32 variant comparisons (S3, C3, S2, C6, H2)
Data Sources & Accuracy
All pin data is sourced from Espressif's official documentation:
